elete™ is a blend of concentrated electrolytes and 70 trace and ultra-trace minerals that can be added to any drink; cold or hot (...it is great in coffee!) or even any food. elete™ instantly delivers important electrolytes like potassium, magnesium, sodium, chloride, and sulfate to your body.

If you taste a drop of elete™ at full concentration, it has a salty flavour. When added to water at recommended concentration, elete™ will typically give it a softer ‘texture’ but not alter the taste.

An electrolyte is any substance that dissociates into ions when dissolved in a suitable medium (such as water) and thus becomes a conductor of electricity.  The minerals, trace elements, ultra-trace elements dissolved in a water medium would have gained or lost one or more of their valence electrons thus giving them a net positive or negative electrical ‘ionic’ charge.  In this form there is no further digestive process required.  If needed by the body they are readily absorbed.

Many sports drinks which claim to contain electrolytes do not - as the minerals they contain are not in ionic form. This means that such drinks will NOT hydrate effectively. Whilst unlikely, electrolytes can have side effects if taken in excess - we would always advise you stick to the recommended daily dose. It's best to store elete™ in a cool, dry place - there is no need to refrigerate. We always advise that it is stored out of reach of children.

We only recommend using the smaller, 25ml refillable pocket flasks when travelling, as once opened, elete™ refill bottles can leak due to their flip-top lid.

The shelf life of elete™ is 6 years, and for CitriLyte™ it is 5years. The shelf life remains the same whether the bottle is opened or not.
